Post Secret I love this site, popular hearsay would have you believe this is the third most popular site in the world. I think it is my personal favorite. Simple visual insights into the private lives of the posters. You are left to build up your own “back story” of the poster. The only clue is a scanned in post card or image with a message that contains a secret about the poster. It proves that the best ideas are the simplest.

Disjointed Intelligence This Blog is from one of our favorite people Wonder Woman and this is how her own description of her blog reads.

For a long time I have considered these relations: our actions and reactions and their effect down the line, in short, life. These situations never cease to amuse and amaze me, as the topic reaches far and wide. There are lessons to be learned, stories to be told, and fun to be had.

It is one of the most popular blogs on My Blog Log and Blog Catalog and with good reason. Once again it is a personal collection of interesting things. A gread read of snippits of things. I am coming to think these are the best blogs of all. Like the Thinking blog you can discover id you are on the same wavelength and then just enjoy the other persons point of view. This is a readers blog like a great magazine and it has people coming back for more and a very health rate of people happy to leave comment, the best sign of a good blog.

This site is great and with a technorati authority of 21,041 and 185,326 links to the site is the reason for its inclusion. It is described with beautiful simplicity

Boing Boing: A Directory of Wonderful Things

so what exactly is it? It is the best collection of stuff you will fint on the net. Interesting stuff, compelling stuff sometimes stuff that outrages, sometimes stull the is just for fun. It is the diversity of the posts and viewpoints that make the site such a compelling read. Click on and you are on a voyage of discovery, unimagined an unexpected.

None of this should come as a surprise when you read the bios of the 5 writers, editors and co founders. They are probably 5 of the most talented futurists in print today.

What more can I say. sublime.

engadget is the most authoritative blog on technorati and the proof is here. Its authority rating is 27,732 with a staggering 602,884 other web sites linking there and it has a value of, and this is mind boggling,
The Engadget blog is worth $15,612,353.70.
How much is your blog worth?

So how would you feel about generating that sort of cash from your writing? And it is just a simple site about gadgets. It has few too many adverts and is very cold I think. This is not the place for warm fuzzy feelings for your fellow human its place to learn about every big boys toy on the market. In a way though, although I’m not going to argue with those stats, but I find this very impersonal and it really is about gadgets, not always the sexy stuff you see in T3 or Stuff this is about real gadgets with specs and frequencies and 0.0000% stuff. Not sexy ladies in swim suits, is that good or bad?

Anyway it wouldn’t be one of my regular reads. It is also interesting to note that 3 of the most popular blogs on technorati are gadget blogs, with a title like technorati that should, I guess, be no surprise!
