Well now I know, not a review of a blog but just a comment that confirms my view of Blogs on the net.
This from the Guardian UK

One significant trend that stands out is an apparent feminisation of the internet. “Ever since it kicked off in the early 90s the web has been male-dominated. For the
first time this year women are spending more time on the internet than men,” says Peter Phillips, strategy and market developments partner at Ofcom, referring to web users in the 25 to 49 age bracket. “It’s a big shift and has implications for the kind of content that content providers want to have on the internet.”Among 25- to 34-year-olds, women now spend more time using the internet than men, according to the Ofcom report published today. Although men account for the majority of web time in most other age groups, women have also taken a slight but significant lead in the 35-49 bracket.

The First Post wins the award for the best blog title of the month! It describes its self as an “online magazine,” a daily digenst of the UK’s daily print news papers. Like all my choices it does what it says on the tin it is indeed a complete digest of the UK’s news. Better than that, it is filled with insightful and interesting editorial and opinion. A top and professional site.

The Huffington Post is one of the most popular News blogs on the Web. All the news is very American but for anyone interested in the most powerful country in the world this is a must. It gets behind American culture and thinking intelligent way.

It has some great link to any and every US news site of any note. It really is a one stop news site for the US. Personally I think every country should have a site just like this. The writer is Arianna Huffington a nationally syndicated columnist, author of ten books and co-founder and editor of the HuffingtonPost.com. It Has a well deserved Technorati authority of 17,254 earning it a place of 5th on the top 10 and making it one of the most popular blogs in the world.
