Two Write Hands (and two left feet) This is very much a Seinfeld blog form a very good writer indeed. This is what she says about herself,

I’ve been told I can write, but no one ever told me I could dance. Find here the brainwork of a 27-year-old college student, published writer, and self-proclaimed genius. Follow my blog and one day say “you knew me when.” Or you could just point out my typos.

Good News is she is right, she can write. She sometimes goes against the rule of brevity that I’ve talk about but the thing is, this is a sticky blog if you are prepared to do some reading! Basically these are her observations of life as a 27 year old student, her life and her thoughts and I happy to report she is an interesting person. On a personal note I am beginning to think that my upbringing in a single parent female home is effecting my reviews.

Lazylaces now I admit this review is biased. I set out to find a blog I liked by a man. One that wasn’t about SEO or making money. This is one of the top games blogs, its British and written by a man, Graeme. The look is great it takes a bit of getting used to the home page is home to hundreds of those rather annoying point and click games you often get in your in box. A lot of them are in Japanese! So why do I like it? Because it is cool and you get to know the bloke who wrote it, despite the guise of a game blog it is all about him and I just found myself clicking around and browsing. Like TV today the trick is to have something sticky. Something that makes people stay a while and look around. So now I have two new phrases the sticky blog and the Seinfeld.

Joey Moggie Is another great site, top 10 in several on line stats directories - 5 Topblogsites - 6 skinny - and more. All with very good reason. This lady from a small island in Canada captures the mood of the people and herself in her posts. Again the key seems to be get to the point, all the posts are short pithy and say what needs to be said. Perhaps a but too much “fuel” in the sidebar but honestly we all want to be read! I enjoyed it very much, I am looking at a lot of blogs but so far the women have it by a mile. I wonder why there are not more women comedians when they all seem to capture life so well?

Eavesdrop Writer Blog This is one of those wonderful ideas that is superbly executed. I writer who comments on everyday life through conversation she has overheard. It is some of the most inspired writing I’ve come across because of the social comment in the subtext. Do give it a visit.
About the Author

I’m in law enforcement by day and a writer by night…often into the wee hours of the morning! This is my first blog and I created it as a place to store my character development resources. I began to think it might spark some creativity in others, too, so here I am. I love writing, reading, eating and road trips. I enjoy family and friends, but also treasure the mysterious world I enter when I write.

Lifehacker this is one of the best examples of a blog on the net. If you want your blog to rise up the charts this is the way to do it. Every post is a gem and averages about 10 sentences. This blog was at the time of writing 6th in the technorati top 100 and with very good reason. The posts are simply pearls of wisdom for a more productive life. The blog is commercial, I bet it didn’t start out as such, clearly now it is a business. Nothing wrong with that it is an example to us all. So visit, study and implement!
